This is a very clever snake control system suitable for all small or lightweight models, and most medium weight models.
The outer cable is a hard tube of 2mm outside diameter with a 1mm bore. Inserted is either a very flexible 0.6mm steel piano wire, or a stiffer 0.8mm wire.
Anschluss connectors sit on the servo arm to clamp the wire insert in place, adjustable in seconds by a grubscrew & allen key. Either a “Z” bend to the control horn is used, or the aeronaut control horn which incorporates another grubscrew adjuster.
This eliminates all clevises and threaded adapters - handy cable adjustments instantly by screw adjusters – it costs less – it weighs less J
(Larger aircraft can benefit from the same system if 1.5mm piano wire is used as an inner, and is inserted into a larger 3mm outside diameter, 2.1mm inside diameter outer snake cover. )
