Arising Star is an elegant high-wing model which makes an excellent choice for new pilots. The combination of generous wing area and airfoil endow Arising Star with extremely benign flying characteristics. 

This makes it our favourite trainer for glowfuel model pilots.

The construction of the model is conventional, i.e. it is a built-up all-wood structure. It is surprisingly high quality  ARF. Fuselage, wing and tail panels are supplied built and film-covered, while the ailerons, elevator and rudder are pre-hinged. To finish off the model only a few processes have to be completed, such as joining the wings, attaching the tail panels to the fuselage, mounting the motor, fuel tank and undercarriage, installing the RC system and linkages.

A similar trainer that we carry as occasional alternatives to Arising Star. This is a bit faster than Arising Star due to it's semi symmetrical wing airfoil, so is a little more lively.

Open the big, colourful box and you'll find everything to hand; clear photo-illustrated instruction manual, hardware bag including wheels, spinner, linkages, fuel tank, just add engine, R/C and starting accessories.
Huge wing area gives the newcomer an easy, forgiving flight. It's factory built and looks fantastic. The bright & clearly visible colour scheme makes recognition in the sky so easy.

 This is more of a high wing scale model for easy flying by experienced pilots, rather than a basic trainer. Honestly it's a bit nice to bang about while you get the hang of flying, but it can be used this way. Lovely fibreglass fuselage.

Quite fast for it's size, it is wind resistant as a result.
