Choosing Radio Controls for your Model
Analog Radios: The basic 2, 4 & 6 ch radio controls available are analog type. In the past these were our best sellers. However the mobile phone and computer boom created cheaper and better technology, so we sell both 4 ch and 6 ch analog RC.

While 4ch analog is cheaper, the cost saving is just € 30 on an outfit. For that you've no model settings memory, and no channel mixing, no airbrakes. To fly a heli, a delta or v-tail plane extra gadgets have to be purchased. These days most beginners go digital with computer RC, but if budget is tight, then analog 4ch is usually the choice.

Computer Radios: Modellers switch to computer radio gear as soon as they can, generally while on their 2nd model.

Computer radios have vital channel mixing, variable servo movement rates and can memorise settings for each model you have. Graupner mc computer RC have features like multiple model memory, pre-programmed manoeuvres (rolls, loops, at the touch of a button). Their ability to mix controls like elevon (elevator-aileron), V-tail, flaperon, are invaluable. They have dual servo response rate, fail safe settings, etc.

Electric fliers choose computer RC sooner due to advantages gained in parkfly jets and gliders. Small e-aircraft often fly 4 channel control with only 2-3 servos onboard (=less weight !) by use of "elevon" mixing, the setting used in delta planes by glow fliers. They can also fly V-tail gliders.
