Projects for small groups -  eg class team, parent/teen pair, engineering and technology students, or as a  modellers "2nd model"

These models may be a tad ambitious for a total beginner, being scale models, but that's ok if an adult is present to assist from time to time by providing guidance if a "sticking point" occurs during the making of the kit.

Ideal for teenagers - these particular kits were developed by Aeronaut especially for modelling in schools where a small group of 2 - 4 persons are making the model together over 5 or 6 building sessions.

The kits shown here are a good progression in modelling in wood, for making a "second model", suitable also for adults or third level engineering students to cut their teeth on.

We know well by now how  people get stuck when a part of the building is beyond their ability, and in these particular models those sort of problems are either pre-done, or avoided altogether.

They can be made either as a display or as a radio control (RC) model. The choice is yours. Doing as an RC working model will however add a little extra electronic complexity and building time.
