Annagh Hill, Co Wicklow lies in the centre of a triangle formed by Arklow, Gorey and Carnew. The top of one side of Annagh Hill is in forestry, but it is only the top that has trees, and the slopes are clear. The main slopes are NW out over the lowland towards Tinahely,  and NE out over the valley (Southern Wicklow Gap) towards Croghan Mountain.

You can get to Annagh Hill, from several directions, but probably the handiest way is to take the Gorey road from Arklow, and turn right on the small road that leads directly to Tinahely over the mountains, and goes through the slightly less well known "Southern Wicklow Gap".  There is a small road that skirts the mountain, and access is from there.

I have not flown models from Annagh Hill yet, so I give links to the Irish Hang Glider Associations web gallery for the pictures.

 Please email me your info about where you fly, so I can include it..  n o r m _ f l y e r @ y a h o o . c o . u k
