Coomhola Valley Slope , Kilgarvan, Co Kerry

  Pic awaited

Take the back road out of Glengarriff, out towards Kenmare.

There is a place called Coomhola Bridge, at this point proceed up the road that follows the Coomhola River up the valley towards Kilgarvan, on the other side of the Shehy Mountains.

Go about 8 miles or 13 Km towards Kilgarvan. At the head of the Coomhola Valley, there is a 3/4 circular slope which I have yet to fly from, (not having a plane with me when I found this place) but it looks marvellous. I plan to fly at this slope next time I'm in the area.

  Please email me your info about where you fly, so I can include it..  n o r m _ f l y e r @ y a h o o . c o . u k
