This is the main Dublin Mountains Slope, and one of Irelands most important slopes.

Killakee is a wide slope. Iit faces towards south west which is the most common wind direction.  Drive up the Killakee Road, past Killakee House, and up to "Viewpoint" where people stop to look out over Dublin Bay. At the far side of the carpark take the right side of the fork in the road, and drive for 1 mile. The slope opens out below on the right and just gets better and better until you know you have to stop and fly where the road widens, giving safe parking

The standing is on grass and heather,  but the slope is all grass, and just lovely.   The lift is best in a west-south west wind.  The lift is wide, and goes out far.

Please email me your info about where you fly, so I can include it...  norm_flyer@yahoo.co.uk
