The Vee Slope, Bohernagore West, Knockmealdown Mountains,
Clogheen - Cappoquin Road, Co. Tipperary - SE, S, SW to W facing slope

Another slope in the Knockmealdown Mountains (SE of Galtee Mountains), and well known as a popular scenic viewpoint is "The Vee".

The Vee’ refers to a V-shaped turn on the road leading to a gap in the Knockmealdown mountains. The Vee itself is on the Sugar Loaf, but the pass from Tipperary to Waterford runs between Knockaunabulloga, and the Sugar Loaf.

This location has been used by paragliders, so if somebody is "up there", never launch a model plane in proximity.

Due to the location several wind directions work well.

Description: Access from the R668 road from the Mitchelstown to Cahir road..
